Funds donated by students and faculty were matched by the Asian-American Institute for Research and Education, directed by Savio L-Y. Woo, Ph.D., D.Sc. (Hon). The funds were donated to assist Biomedical Engineering as we recover in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
