The departmental computing environment consists of a high speed 100Mbps network backbone that interconnects the various supercomputers and servers to workstations, pc's, and mac's distrubuted across the department. Below you will find information on the various software and hardware available.

Unix: Information on the departmental supercomputers, servers, and workstations for use by faculty and students.

Systems Information: Documentation on UNIX systems available to faculty and students.

Commerical Software: Licensed commerical software available on various departmental systems.

Freeware: Information on the free software and free operating systems installed on various departmental systems.

NQE: Network Queueing environment on nucleus.

Printing: Available departmental printers.
